I bought an item from China which was advertised on a facebook sales page. The item received is significantly different to the item ordered. The buyer wants me to send the item back but pay for the postage before they will offer a refund. The postage will be significantly more than the item is worth (£17.60) meaning if they say that there is any sort of problem I will be the original cost of the item ($40) plus the postage cost out of pocket. It would appear looking on facebook that this is not a one off occurence. Because the company has offered a refund (with strings) I can't escalate the dispute to put across the extra information, HOW CAN I DO AN ESCALATION?
