EHi PP community. I’m new to this , so don’t know how it works.
Basically I’ve been scammed by a trader in China advertising a nice looking folding camping chair, and delivering a tiny plastic three legged stool...it seems ,from search comments, I’m not the only one.
without going into tedious detail, the company has agreed a refund, if I return the items by 18. Jan...and as this is not possible ,I’m going abroad and the item is at the delivery address in Sussex, and I’m in London, flying to france tomorrow.
ive been asking PP to arrange for an extension....not that I have any expectation of the traders returning my money...they are crooks ....but to go through the motions..( it’s £40 ish. ). I’m more concerned with PP not allowing their rules to be used to victimise honest customers using their operation. They are an organisation with integrity, and trust is important...so enabling crime...or allowing their service to assist crime cannot be in their interest.
Having discussed this with various “ agents” ...they have simply stopped responding....which seems poor service for such a public dependant company.
Anyone got any advice or ideas?
thanks
