@chaajoad The transaction cannot be not there on your account... Do you remember how you funded it? Via your bank, debit or credit card or PayPal balance? If nothing has been debited, then count your lucky stars that something happened to your transaction ... Stop buying anything on Social Media.. Report all future ads. If it’s too seems so cheap that it’s a bargain, chances are it’s a scam.

@Mari2020 Under what category did you file it under matters since PayPal’s reply is mostly automated nowadays. That is probably the reason why it’s closed if you disputed under item not received when it had. Thenyou need to call and speak to a live representative.

Dispute as item not as described for a full refund. Warn everyone not to buy anything thru Social Media. Report any ad you see as suspicious. I do this now.

@hpage66 What creditcard was this original charge linked with? Do a chargeback with that card. If payment was approved originally and PayPal said that tickets were issued, ask them for proof of ticket numbers. If no ticket numbers are attach to that transaction, then your tickets were not issued.

You can always do a chargeback... but is PayPal complicit in this scam and should I remove all my creditcards from my PayPal account now? Update: I’ve removed all creditcards except one Amex card which they are excellent to deal with in fraudulent charges like this. So one card stays. The bank and debit card stays as I deposit money into them..

Everyone disput your transactions under “Item received not as described” .. and do a chargeback with your creditcard if that fails.
If they want item returned, Mark item for repair otherwise China Customs will reject anything originally made in China to be sent to China.
Return item through regular airmail with tracking. Not by courier.
