Hi wanderingmike,   I'm sorry about the delay in responding to you, and that you're still experiencing these issues 😞   At this time, I'm not aware of any issues with the Android app, as we have not received feedback from any customers experiencing the same issues you have described. As a result, you may need to check what version of Android your phone currently uses.   The updated version of the app only works with Android  2.2 and up. Hi baytrading1,   I can assure you that we at PayPal do read all threads which are opened on the Community Forum, and we do take feedback which will help with improving our functionality and website, and forward it to the relevant department here.   Although the Community Forum is intended to be a place for customers to share experiences and discuss issues, two of my colleagues have responded to this thread previously, so I hope you can see that we are keeping an eye on things 🙂   I understand that both you and a number of other people have stated that they find the website slow, and I can assure you that we work to update the website constantly. We have had an online presence for over 10 years, which means that our website may appear slightly clunky beside newer sites, and new features which we add and functionality we implement may sometimes slow down things. We are definitely aware of this, and we are working to make things better.   Something such as the speed with which a page opens after you click on it is also something that is affected by a number of variables, such as the speed of your internet connection or the browser you're using. Many people also don't report the issues which have been mentioned here.   I can again assure you that we do take your feedback on board, and work to make things better for our customers. I'm sorry to hear about the recent chargebacks you've been experiencing.   Every buyer using a card to complete a purchase may be able to have the payment reversed by their card issuer. This is a standard risk when taking payments for goods. However, there are ways you can reduce the risk and protect yourself as a seller.   Here are a few tips:   Describe your item or service in as great detail and as precisely as possible Offer your customer good service by answering all his questions promptly Send your item only to the shipping address of the buyer that is shown on the ‘Transaction Details’ page Send your item in such a manner that your shipment can be tracked online Keep all information and documents concerning your sales (for example proof of shipment) If your buyer does contact you about a problem, ask them to open a dispute in the PayPal Resolution Center instead of contacting their card issuer. If your buyers have opened claims with PayPal, they won't be covered by our Buyer Protection, as you have provided a service to them. You will get a response from my colleagues there within 24-72 hours.   If you want to report unauthorised use of your account, you can do so by following the steps below, if you haven't already done so. Please also change your account's password and security questions immediately.   Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account. Click 'Resolution Centre' near the top of the page. As this timeframe is set, it may not show up for the payments you've already received.   You can also look at your eBay account under 'Sold' items to see if it states a release date for your funds. Hi Dave67,   Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with holds on your payments, and that you haven't received a response from our email service. It sounds like the holds placed on your payments are related to eBay holds, which are commonplace for new or inexperienced sellers on ebay.co.uk.   I understand any concerns you may have regarding this, but in our experience, these types of holds help to prevent losses by keeping your money secure. It also makes buyers feel safer and more likely to return and purchase again.   Typically, you’ll have access to these pending payments within:   3 calendar days of the estimated delivery date, if you mark the item as sent in your ebay account and provide delivery tracking information, or 7 calendar days of the estimated delivery date, if you mark the item as sent in your ebay account but don’t provide delivery tracking information, or 21 calendar days, if you don’t mark the item as sent in your ebay account and don't provide delivery tracking information I'd recommend going to your Seller Dashboard to see if there are any areas you need to improve on in order to become an above standard seller. To make sure you're covered by Buyer Protection, you can do this when you're sending your payment.   Here’s how to change your shipping address:   When you are reviewing the payment details, click Change under Shipping Address, and then click ‘Add Address’ to add a new address. Enter the address information and click Add. Click Change to see your list of current shipping addresses. Review the details to make sure that all information is correct, and then click ‘Send Money.’ If you’ve already paid for the item, you'll need to contact the seller directly to ask that they ship to the address of your choice. Hi vyn,   We wouldn't recommend adding and removing email addresses from your account on a regular basis. The maximum amount of email addresses it's possible to have added to your account at one time is 8.   If you add and remove email addresses and receive a message that you can no longer do this, you won't be able to add any more email addresses.
