I just read a blanket statement that debit cards are not reimbursed for fraud or non-receipt of merchandise. I disagree with that statement. I use my debit card almost exclusively online instead of my credit cards. Many times I’ve contacted the bank support team and they issued a temporary credit while investigating the issue. Then they issue a permanent credit after trying to resolve the issue. Sometimes they ask for more proof and I send them the emails showing them that I have tried to get the refund. This could be the bank that I deal with and maybe all banks don’t follow this route. PayPal “can” reimburse you but “can” and “will” are two different things. Fraudsters know how to steal your money and I investigate each company before ordering. You live and learn.
