There are a number of reasons this sort of thing could be happening. * Make sure your account is still fully verified/confirmed with a linked bank and credit/debit card. * Make sure you don't have any limitations or requests for ID verification or anything like that on the account. * Try to clear browser cache/cookies/etc. (or use a private window or separate browser altogether) and see if the same problem happens. Do you have PayPal integrated on a website or anything like that? Are you having issues there as well, or only in the VT? One way you could test that is to use the Virtual Terminal that I built on PayPal Commerce Platform. * Go to https://store.usbswiper.com * Click Launch Virtual Terminal * Create an account / Log in using PayPal, a social account, or registering directly. * Then connect your PayPal account using the "connect" button provided. Then you'll get a VT screen similar to what PayPal provides, and it will be interesting to see if that fails for you as well, or if that ends up working. This would be evidence that it's a VT issue specifically. By the way, because our VT is built on PayPal Commerce Platform and uses "Advanced Credit Cards", it gives you a cheaper processing rate. The PayPal VT charges 3.09% per transaction, but with our VT through our partnership you'll get 2.69%. If you use the VT a lot this can be some dramatic savings.
