Hi mickleham_wait, Great question! Whenever you use a custom image for your buttons, these must be hosted somewhere other than PayPal. You might consider hosting them on a more stable site you control where they won't be disturbed. Thanks, Adrian

Hi kmar5257, Welcome to the Community! That's a great question and a great point - you don't have to add money into your balance to pay with PayPal. If you have a card, just add the card to your account. You can then use it to pay during checkout. Thanks! Adrian

Hi mprisz, Welcome to the Community! Some merchants use an authorization or Order process, where they lodge an authorization for your purchase prior to completing the payment. This allows them to ensure they have the item in stock and are shipping the item out before permanently debiting you. It's ok - if anything, it works out better for you as a customer, since they'll let you know if it's out of stock before charging you! Thanks, Adrian

Hi DrAhoy, Welcome to the Community and great question! PayPal does offer coverage for intangible items for US buyers, although you must send it as a commercial payment and not as a friends and family payment. We have more information here: https://www.paypal.com/security. In the event PayPal finds a claim in your favor, you receive a refund - even if the seller doesn't have the funds in their account.
