The last I heard was June or July but as of today it still isn't resolved. The merger has nothing to do with it. The algorithm was not built to recognize the zettle payments as Paypal transactions. Thus the algorithm thinks it is a third-party processing service. Paypal has been aware of the issue for over a year and the only solution they gave was to switch back to Paypal here or use the virtual terminal to re-qualify in 6 months. Both are not solutions and they should have been clear that the zettle payments wouldn't be counting. if fact, before switching to zeetle I asked a rep if it would affect my capital loan or future loans and they flat-out told me that it wouldn't affect it at all.  Then I paid off the loan in October and have gotten denied ever since. There are some threads that date back to January 2022 stating this issue. Well, currently paypal working capital does not recognize zettle payments. So, if you do apply for a new loan, you will be denied. It's been that way for over a year now with no fix in sight. ... View more

Yes, it would be nice to have something more committal than, "We Are Working On it." I've been hearing that since October and still no end in sight. The messed up thing is that the transactions that we do outside of zettle which are well beyond $15k, seem to not matter because a majority of the transactions are through zettle. Our workaround has been to either break it into two different transactions or create a discount for the cash amount and then manually enter the cash payment into the books. Yes, you can set up dollar amounts as products and discounts.    One of the biggest things that has been an issue for us, is there is no way to enter deposits. Also if your direct and online payments are outside of Zettle, you will be denied because it isn't a majority of the transactions that are going through the account. We have been well over the limit on our online sales and the algorithm is still denying the loan. ... View more

Yeah, it makes you wonder what the PPWC customer service does all day. It is all automated, I'm guessing that pretty much every call they get is about loan denial. Now that this is going on, pretty much all the calls they are getting are about Zettle and the fact that it still hasn't been resolved. I saw that PayPal is selling off Xoom because there is too much competition out there. Seems that they would spend some of that money on getting this resolved and keeping customers. Especially in a part of the market, they have been desperate to expand on, Merch retail transactions. I mean they know that there is just so much they can do with online sales and small sites. Having an all-in-one POS and merch transaction system is a huge selling point and really the only way they are going to be able to compete with Square. I mean they offering something for pretty much free that Square charges for and at a lower transaction rate. It's why I went with Zettle in the first place and one of the reasons I've stuck with PayPal was the Working Capital Loans. They have been marking the threads as "closed" for the last few months. I'm guessing because they don't have an answer and can only refer you to the FAQ. Part of the issue is that you are in fact dealing with two different companies. The bank that does the loans and Paypal. Both have different customer service personnel and neither of them knows what is going on. ... View more
