Hi @AlexanderSB,      Welcome to the PayPal Community.    Thank you for sharing the above link @sharpiemarker.    If you receive a refund via PayPal, you will receive an automatic email advising you of this refund. Also, if you review the 'Activity' section of your PayPal account, this particular transaction should show as 'Refunded'. If you have not received this email and/or it does not show as refunded this means no refund has been issued.    When a transaction/payment has been refunded, the money will be credited back to the same funding source that was used to pay originally.  If you paid with a debit card/bank account, the refund should appear between 5-7 working days on your card/bank statement.  If you paid using a credit card, this refund can take anything up to 30 days to appear on your statement.  If your PayPal balance was used to fund this transaction, you should see the refund credited to your PayPal balance immediately. Hi @calloz,      Thank you for getting in touch via the PayPal Community.    I understand you have sent a payment to an incorrect email address or phone number. As this is the case, the payment will show as 'unclaimed'.    If you are not seeing the option to cancel via the PayPal App, I would suggest logging into your account via the PayPal Website.    Here’s how to cancel an unclaimed payment: Click Activity near the top of the page. Find the transaction you want to cancel. Click Cancel under your unclaimed transaction. Click Cancel Payment. Remember that you can cancel only unclaimed payments. If your payment is complete, you’ll need to contact the recipient of the payment and request a refund.   Tips: You can only cancel an unclaimed payment that has a Cancel link next to it under "Order Status/Actions." If you used a credit card to make your payment, it may take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your statement. If you used a transfer from your bank to make the payment the funds will be placed on your PayPal account balance before being auto swept back to the original funding source (bank). Hi @Anny26   Welcome to the PayPal Community.    When you add a card to your PayPal account, we charge a small amount to this card to confirm the card belongs to you.    The code sequence appears as PayPal*1234CODE or PP*1234CODE. You will need the first 4 digits to confirm your card. After the card is confirmed, we will immediately refund the card. Your card issuer will credit your card balance within 30 days from the date of the refund. If you can’t access your online statement or this 4-digit code is unavailable online, check your next paper statement for this code. We cannot provide you with the 4-digit confirmation code by any other method.   After you have confirmed your card, we immediately refund the amount charged to the same card. You can view the refund in your transaction history. If the card is not confirmed within 75 days since the confirmation process started, the charge will be automatically refunded to your card. If you remove your card or close your account during the time frames above, the return of the credit may not process. In these instances, you may need to contact PayPal Customer Service to have the charge manually refunded.   To enter the 4-digit PayPal code to confirm your card there should be a notification on your home page. Otherwise: Log in to your PayPal account Click Wallet near the top of the page. Click the card you're confirming. It is not possible to change the name on your account to another person's name. To change the name on your Business account: Go to your Profile Settings. Click Personal details on the left. Hi @Logasteg,    Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community.    I would recommend logging into your account to view the invoice.    To pay a money request sent by a seller: 1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account. 2. The money request appears on your homepage below the ‘Pending’ heading. 3. To pay it, click Send Money and follow the prompted steps.     When you aren't sure if you can trust a communication claiming to be from PayPal, check to see if the message does any of the following:  Uses impersonal, generic greetings, such as “Dear user” or “Dear [your email address].” Emails from PayPal will always address you by your first and last names or by your business name. We never say things like "Dear user" or "Hello PayPal member.” Asks you to click on links that take you to a fake website. Always check links in an email before you click them. A link could look perfectly secure like www.paypal.com/SpecialOffers. Make sure to move your mouse over the link to see the true destination. If you aren’t certain, don’t click on the link. Contains unknown attachments. Only open an attachment if you're sure its legitimate and secure. Be particularly cautious of invoices from companies and contractors you're not familiar with. Some attachments contain viruses that install themselves when opened. Conveys a false sense of urgency. Phishing emails are often alarmist, warning you to update your account immediately. They're hoping you'll fall for their sense of urgency and ignore warning signs that the email is fake. Hi @Kimble1,   Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community.    PayPal offers purchase protection for cases of unauthorized use, non-receipt, and items that are significantly not as described for 180 days. We are sorry to hear of the issues you are having with your purchase.   If you received something that was 'Significantly Not As Described', you can open up a PayPal case.    For steps on how to open a case, please see: What should I do if I have a problem with my PayPal purchase?    You can’t open a dispute for payments sent as “Family and Friends.” You can send a personal payment to reimburse a friend for dinner or to collect money for a gift etc. The Purchase Protection program doesn’t apply to personal payments.   -Rebecca  ...
