How to configure Auto email receipt to buyers on PayPal Merchant account?

Hi,

I am configuring the PayPal account for a merchant who will receive payments from a website using PayPal buttons. But buyers are not receiving the payment confirmation emails. is this something I need to configure on PayPal end. FYI, currently I am checking on sandbox. 

Please help!
