How do I get my money if I have not received a notification

Hi! My friend said that she sent me money through my PayPal account to the correct email address that I gave her. She also sent me a transaction ID. My PayPal account shows no money available and I haven't received any email notifications that I've got money. Does anyone know how I deal with this?
