Five years ago, I set up a Business Paypal account for a non-profit organization. At the time, I was a board member, so I used my name and SS# to set it up. I am no longer on the board and not the owner of the paypal account. I never was the owner of the paypal account. It was set up with the intention that the organization owned the account. Since I am no longer on the board and do not have signing privileges for the organization's linked checking account, it is a security risk for the organization that my name and social security number associated with the account. This organization changes boards every year, so there is no one who is a permanent person. I do not want the liability of having access to their bank accounts, but because Paypal is not allowing me to change the contact name on the account, I am put in a liability situation that could have legal ramifications.
There needs to be a way for businesses to remove people from their business paypal account. It's a fact that employees leave, board members change, and not giving businesses an easy way to remove people's names and social security numbers from business accounts is creating a liability for businesses. Imagine if a disgruntled employee had set up the account, and cleaned out a business's linked bank accounts because they had access through paypal. According to Paypal, they're allowed to do so, because the employee owns the account rather than the business.
All the options I find allow me to change my name if it has legally changed, but there does not seem to be a way to disassociate myself from a business when I set up the business account for the business. As I said, the organization owns the account, not me, so how do I remove my name and put in the current treasurer's name instead?

You're right for maintaining control of the account while your SS# is on it.
I have a business account which uses my SS# as it is for a sole proprietorshp.
I assumed that an EIN would be adequate without SS# but I don't know the details about which is actually required so I can't give more details.
Suggest you keep phoning and hopefully get to a person who can specifically state if an account can be opened with just an EIN. If so, then you would need to figure out how to remove your SS#. I think that will depend one which number is used for IRS reporting. If your SS# was used, then my guess would be that a new EIN account would be required. If the EIN is used then, hopefully, PayPal could remove your SS#.
You could open a new front on PayPal support by clicking on Legal at the bottom of the page and then continuing to the email option. What will happpen then is you get an automated email in a couple days. At that point, get a little angry and reply tot he email that you want a real person to review and, of course, re-state the entire problem. I've found that I actually get a conversation stated with a person.
I hope I've given you at least some background information to help you get the problem resolved.

A chargeback is not a paypal dispute, it is done directly via a buyers c.c. company IF they funded their paypal payment via a c.c.
The c.c. company make any decisions and not paypal. However paypal will put forward any defence if thats the right word on your behalf.
If you lose then you pay the c.c companies processing fee as well.
So I was selling xbox in-game items to someone and the payment that they sent says “On Hold; This payment will be in your pending balance until January 23, 2018. It may be available sooner, once we know the transaction went smoothly.” I followed some paypal directions to establish that the “object” in exchange was a digital item and got a notification that an email was sent to the buyer. That is as far as I know now. Is it possible for the buyer to do anything to cancel that payment before the deadline?
paypal is processing the payment now,and you should wait till it tells you it is ok to ship.

They need your paypal email address to send an invoice to your paypal account.

You cannot split funding sources for a payment.
When you qualify for increased PayPal Credit it will be offered at time of purchase. You will not know in advance.
Why does PayPal only have reports for the consumer when it comes to Sales Tax. I have a business and I create invoices on PayPal which includes taxable items. I cannot find a report that shows how much Sales Tax I collected. Only how much I paid when purchasing. HELP!!!!
Also, how can we pressure PayPal to get this simple little report? My invoices have a Sales Tax field that PayPal calculates for me and totals it up for me. It is simple enough to pull that information into a report. If I had access to their backend, I could do it myself.
I need a total of what I have collected, not what I have paid out to other businesses. I am a wholesaler, so I rarely pay sales tax when purchasing, but I have to pay the state Sales Tax. I shouldn't have to go through each invoice and add up the Sales tax myself.
Go to "Manage Invoices". Load all of the invoices you want to download. Click "download". This will give you a spreadsheet that includes the sales tax you collected on each invoice. This is the only "report" that will give you sales tax collected, other than looking up each individual invoice! Best of Luck!

I bought an amazon digital gift card using Paypal digital gifts over 12 hours ago and I still haven't received the e-mail with my claim code. Delivery was supposed to be immediate. Has anyone else had this issue? I have ordered digital gift cards in the past with no issues and usually get them in less than 30 minutes. Thanks for the help.
As Paypal states, it can take several hours, up to 24-hour to deliver your digital Amazon Gift card. If more that 24-hours has elapsed, you should contact Paypal Gifts at the toll-free line: https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/contact/call
Make sure to have your Transaction ID handy to give to the Customer Representative whom answers the call.

This is not about withdrawal limits, i don't know what to think
So here what I figured out (by myself thank you Service for nothing).
May be it depends on Summary you have on your account, I think I simply can't have much money...
I got, for example, 10 dollars and then 200 dollars, and for some reason PayPal blocked any withdraws from my account...so I created another and transfered small amounts of money there (and spend a lot of summary on fees...thank you again PayPal). I could withdraw and I thought problem was in my account so I transfered all money to my 2nd one...and guess what, they blocked this account and unblocked the 1st one...they hate me.
They don't answer me in this topic anyway...
