Is it just me or does it seem a bit costly to do business on ebay?

ebay runs a HUGE organization to maintain that site.  That costs money.

If you want lower fees, use the other sites, but you won't get anywhere near the traffic.

You get what you pay for.

If you don't like the costs, sell somewhere else.
