When is the new deadline for merchants to upgrade to PayPal's Merchant Security Roadmap?

There were several merchant upgrades that were supposed to be made by today (June 30, 2017) to conform to PayPal's Merchant Security Roadmap: https://www.paypal-knowledge.com/infocenter/index?page=content&id=FAQ1913 but when I checked that page, it says:
"UPDATE: While we are allowing for these security updates to be made after June 30, 2017, we continue to recommend that you prioritize the changes and updated protocols specified by the PCI Council so you are best positioned to protect your customers from security and fraud-related issues."
Can anyone say when the exact new deadline will be? I would like to be able to check my PayPal Pro to see if it works after the deadline but I'd need to know when that date is. I would prefer not to wait until a customer complains that their payment didn't go through and I would prefer not to be testing it every single day. An exact date would be very nice to know. Anyone?

Thanks for the reply, MTS_Ciaran. I feel exactly the same as TheOutlier.
But it leads me to two more questions:
1. Do I understand well that the situation today is same as before June 30, 2017? Nothing has actually changed (yet)?
2. Where/how will PayPal publish the new deadline? Here on this forum? An update on the roadmap ( https://www.paypal-knowledge.com/infocenter/index?page=content&id=FAQ1913 )? An email to all PayPal users?

They appear to have a new deadline date, June 2018. Here is the link: https://www.paypal-notice.com/en/ In 2016, I received an email from PayPal which showed the results of them testing my site to see which parts of the new PayPal requirements were not met. It was pretty helpful. I'm wondering if we're going to get a similar email prior to June 2018 telling us which parts of our site need to be changed in order to be compliant?

To my knowledge all of the security changes have taken affect on the sandbox already, so if you test your integration there and it works you'll be ready to rock!
