Hello,

I am posting to this thread to say thanks to Pay Pal for refusing to provide services to an organization that is involved in criminal avtivity.  Good job and i will continue to utilize your fine services.

After reading some of the comments expressing dismay over Pay Pal's desicion I would have expected better negative comments but most appear to be from the i hate bush crowd which negates most of their value.

For those that think pay pal does not have the right to decide who they do business with you probably are a socialist anyway.

This is odd, daklipper. I've just reread the entire thread as well, and I find:

- No attacks on George Bush.

- No socialist viewpoints, unless by that you mean a request to PayPal to clarify what laws Wikileaks has been convicted of breaking.

- No claim that PayPal may not choose whom they do business with, or that we may not choose to do business with PayPal if we believe they have committed an injustice.

Maybe we were reading different threads?

BOYCOTT PayPal if you believe in freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to due process. PayPal makes politically motivated decisions to prevent the flow of money to organizations they oppose on principle, thus disrupting our democratic society.

PayPal should be a politically blind service company, and until it is I ask you to BOYCOTT.

I love PayPal for voluntarily doing this... Although, why didn't they do this BEFORE the first or second military papers release? - They had plenty of notice.

It's just strange and looks very bad that they waited until the eve of the Banking/Fed scandal documents release.

I for one, as an upholder of the Constitutuion, am shocked and dismayed at the position taken by PayPal to politicize itself as a corporate entity by withdrawing services from a customer, WikiLeaks. I am strongly inclined to cancell my account with both PayPal and its parent EBay.
