Wont accept my bank account number

I tried to link my bank account but it says it is not valid, not sure whats happening and why it wont recognise it

You can't add a local bank account / debit card in your country.
You can only link a visa credit card.
You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.
