I had $20 in my PP account after two transactions of >$40 yesterday but today that money is not there and I did not transfer it - what happened?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

You can keep and use a balance with PayPal if you have a PayPal Balance account. It shows how much money you have available in your primary currency.
You can use your balance to send money to family and friends or to shop online.

To view all balance transactions and activity from your computer, go to your Activity and click All transactions.

On the PayPal app, tap Wallet, then tap Activity.

To see a detailed breakdown of different currencies, go to Wallet. Please click here for details on viewing the balance.
