I am English but live in Portugal. I have bank accounts in both countries but only use the Portuguese account on Pay Pal. At times it would be more convenient, and financially worthwhile, to make payment from my UK account. I tried years ago to add a card from my UK account but, for a reason that I cannot remember, it was refused. Can anyone provide an explanation and/or solution?
When you have a Portuguese account you will need to add Portuguese financial information to it and the same goes for a UK account, you will need to add UK financial information. The option to add financials from another country is not an option we have at the moment. This would most likely be why you were unable to add your UK card to your Portuguese account. If this is to change in the future we will be sure to make everyone aware.
