Why cant I add my vanilla gift card to my wallet? It is a physical gift card. I checked the balance, it definitely has money on it & it’s activated. I registered the card to make sure my address that PayPal has on file is connected to the gift card. I tried letting my phone scan the card. I tried manually entering the card info (many times). I saw someone else asked this question & the response from a paypal rep said physical gift cards can be linked. I can’t imagine what else there is to be done that I haven’t thought of & tried. Thank you!

Hello @Hurricanekitty6,
Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for post!
I am sorry to know that you're unable to add a vanilla gift card and I understand this can be frustrating. Not all card are compatible with the PayPal system. Virtual card/bank/gift cards/prepaid have a low success rate with the PayPal system due to risk elements and frequently aren't allowed to be used by the system at all. If you have a card/traditional bank account that is issued by a financial institution only that can be added, you will find greater success.
I hope this information helps,
Ayesha
