Unable to add funds from connected Toronto Dominion bank account

I connected my TD bank account to Paypal a week ago and am still unable to add funds into Paypal.  When I attempt to I receive a generic 'Unable to process your request" message, and when I view the account on the Paypal app it says "Accept Mandate" next to it.  There are no help articles on this and I'm being ghosted by the customer support team, so I'm hoping someone here can clarify how to "accept mandate" for my bank account, or find some other resolution for this issue.

You need to set up the direct debit between your bank account and paypal to allow bank transfers.

Click on accept mandate on paypal and on your online banking.


Advice is voluntary.
