Trouble Adding Bank Account to My PayPal Account

Hello Community,

I am reaching out for assistance as I am facing an issue with adding my bank account to my PayPal account. According to the instructions on PayPal's website, there should be an option to add a bank account under the "Cards and Bank Accounts" section of my account. However, I only find the option to add a credit card.

I have checked and everything seems to be in order with my account information. I have also attempted the operation several times to no avail. The option to add a bank account does not appear to be available.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? And if so, how did you resolve it? I would like to add my bank account to ease my transactions via PayPal.

The option to add a local bank account is not available in every country.

If its not available in yours then you would need to add and confirm a card instead.

However sometimes they allow the adding of a U.S bank account as paypal is a U.S company and allows this for its citizens of the U.S living overseas.

I'm sorry you're having difficulty adding a bank to your PayPal account, @deathx. Please clear your cache and cookies or attempt through another browser. Then, if that doesn't work, try this add bank link. Regrettably, if you are still unable to add a bank using this link, then the option is not available in your country, as @kernowlass mentioned.
