Reward credit discrepancy

PayPal offered a credit of $35 on my next purchase. I was buying things today and noticed the credit was $30.94. Any idea why this amount wasn’t what was communicated via email?

I am sorry to hear the amount of the voucher was less than what you were given. I know this must be frustrating. This could be a simple error that was made causing the amount to be different.
