Did you confirm the card with the 4 digit code after adding it?

Hello @Temp20231202 and @kernowlass

Thanks for joining the PayPal Community, @Temp20231202, and we appreciate your posts, @kernowlass

@Temp20231202, I'm sorry to hear you've been having difficulty using your new card for purchases. It sounds like your card may have been automatically confirmed. However, if you'd like to double-check, please don't hesitate to reach out to Customer Support here. If your card is confirmed, but you're still prompted to add another payment method, it's likely because our Security System has determined that it's not eligible for that specific purchase. If higher risk is found with a transaction, our Security System can limit what payment methods are available.

I have a few troubleshooting options that might help. First, make sure you log in from one consistent device. You'll also want to enable your location services and avoid using a VPN. After that, clear your cache and cookies on your favorite browser and even the PayPal App. If you've made quite a few attempts recently, please allow 48 hours before your next attempt. If you still can't use the card after one attempt in 48 hours, please reach out to Customer Support to explore additional options.

I hope this helps and you can use the card soon!
