Opening a Euro account alongside my GBP account

I have a PayPal account ....it is linked to my email, UK bank account and card.

As I live in France I would like to add a French bank account in Euro's to my existing account....using the same email address...so that I can buy and sell in Euro's without going through PayPal's currency exchange.

I have asked PayPal about this and the links / advice they have given me is useless.

I have tried to open a 'new' account via PayPal.com but as soon as I use my email address it cuts me off saying it is linked to an account already...which it is.

So please can anyone out there help me out as I am not 'au fait' with computers so could you explain in very simple terms how I can solve this.

Many thanks

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.
