Linking card to the account

Hi! I wanted to add a card to my PayPal account but got message the card was already linked to other account. As far as I know, I only have PayPal account created in my whole life.

You may have paid as a guest buyer with that card via a sellers Paypal account at some point.

If so then you may also have used a different email address at the time you paid?

Can you link any other email addresses to see if you can then link the card? You can have up to 8 email addresses on the x1 paypal account.

If that is not the case or does not work then ask customer services to locate the possible other account for you?

 

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
