Link a non US bank account

Hello! 

When I go to link a bank account, I only have the option to link a US bank account. I do not live anywhere close to the US, none of my transactions are in USD and my account is set up in my native country. Was there a change where PayPal only accepts US bank accounts? I would ask a support operator, but apparently there is no way to reach out to PayPal support so I have to ask here. If anyone has any information, it would be very much appreciated!

Not all countries can add local bank accounts to their account, if you can't then you would need to add a credit visa instead.

You can however in some countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account. This is because paypal is a U.S company so they allow their citizens that are living internationally to use their bank accounts with other countries paypal accounts.

Paypal is country specific so you have to open a Paypal account registered in the country where you live. You would then need to add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account. This is because paypal is a U.S company and allows that option for U.S Paypal account holders working in other countries.

You should be able to add an FNB bank (only) OR cards to your paypal account.

if I do not have a visa credit card will i then not be able to link my paypal account, as it keeps on asking me to link us bank account number, what do i do now
