If PayPal sent you $5 USD (or any amount of money) as a reward, it would be yours to keep. If there is money in the balance of your PayPal account, you may use it to pay for a purchase or you may withdraw it to a bank account or card depending on your country.

PayPal appreciates input from other customers like @hitzgroup, but we would not take back money that was given as a reward or gift. Please log on to your account and review your Activity as well as checking your Wallet to see what options you may have to add a bank account or card if you want to withdraw the money.
