I'm sorry to hear that the code was not accepted. I can think of one possibility. If you tried adding the card multiple times, the code that would work would be the one sent most recently. If you added the card 3 times, the third code received would be the one needed, for instance. It sounds like you may have entered a code that did not correspond with the most recent attempt to add. If the card still cannot be confirmed, please reach out to Customer Service for assistance. Click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website for contact options.
