I have several Vanilla gift cards... some with full balance and some with low balances that will otherwise go unspent, so I figured I could just transfer the remaining balances into Paypal. Wrong.. they all get declined when I try and link them. None of them are expired.
Vanilla card have a low success rate with the PayPal system and frequently aren't allowed to be used by the system at all. These kind of cards are not compatible with PayPals System. If you have a card/traditional bank account issued by financial institution that can be added with success.
