Can't add mastercard card to my paypal

When I added my mastercard card it said its declined even though it's totally fine, I don't know what I did wrong.

In some countries you can only add a visa.

Also Paypal does not accept all cards so you may get the message the card is declined. If the card you are trying to add is virtual or issued online you may need to try another card.

Also you need available funds on the card to allow for the confirmation process and the billing address of your card has to match your paypal account address.
