Bank and card linking issue

I am in Nigerian and I am having the same linking issue. It keeps saying Link a U.S bank account. How can I link a Nigerian bank or debit card to my PayPal.

Firstly nothing will work in Nigeria if you are using a paypal account from another country presumably trying to get around the non receipt of funds limit in your country???

Secondly you can't add a local bank account / debit card in Nigeria.
You can only link a credit card.

Also the option to receive paypal payments is sadly not available in Nigeria.
You can only send payments for purchases funded by your (confirmed) credit card..... AS LONG AS YOU ARE USING A NIGERIAN PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive paypal payments.
