Bank account problem

Hi! I recently wanted to add my bank account to PayPal so I can top up my my PayPal account, I did everything they said and I got a PayPal IBAN to where I sent the money, but after that I saw that I couldn’t verify the bank account because I didn’t receive those 2 payments and I had to delete the account. What will happen with the money or what should I now?

Allow a few business days for the code to show in your bank account.

Thanks! But I thing I wanna know is if I’ll still receive the money into my PayPal account if I sent them to this IBAN : [Removed. Phone #s not permitted], even if I did not verify my bank account which I used to send the money with.

Hi everyone!! Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear there's been some confusion regarding recent bank transfers. Thank you @kernowlass for providing those Help Center articles. Your time and assistance is always appreciated.

@lazxndr, welcome back! Thank you for providing those additional details. It sounds like you've tried to add money to PayPal, but input your bank account details incorrectly, is that right? If so, the next step would depend on where you initiated the request from.

If you started it from your bank's side, and the funds have already left your bank, you would want to reach out to your bank to see what next steps they'd recommend.

If you started it from PayPal's side, the transfer will most likely not complete since you've used the incorrect bank details. However, if you're asking about funds going to your bank and not from your bank, and you sent funds to the incorrect account information, it would also depend on if that bank exists or not. If the bank exists, the transfer may complete, in which case you would need to reach out to the bank to see what next steps they'd recommend. If the bank does not exist, the funds may bounce back to your PayPal account within 7-10 business days.

I hope that helps. Please feel free to provide further details if this was not relevant to your situation.

Best wishes!
