Bank Account Linking Fail

Whenever i try to press the option to link a bank account to paypal it doesnt work, not even in the browser, whats the issue? Is it region? Is it because my account is sorta new?

You can't add a local bank account in every country. If you click on bank accounts in your Paypal wallet and it only says U.S bank account then you would not be able to add a local one and would need to link a card instead.

 
You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account. This is because paypal is a U.S company and allows that option for U.S Paypal account holders working in other countries.
