Bank Account Issues

Me and my wife share a bank account, and I'm trying to link it to my Paypal. Paypal has come back with "Something Went Wrong. We couldn't link your bank. Try again later." I've been at this for two weeks, and it's STILL preventing me from linking it. I'm so frustrated! Please, anyone, please help me out. I tried customer service, but they weren't any help.

honestly if you have any options that aren't paypal you should consider that;

you could probably just open an account in just your name, and transfer funds if needed though right?
