I have a balance of S$10 in my paypal account but my purchase is about S$14. What should I do ? I understand that I could link a credit card to my account but when a card is linked, will the payment be deducted from the balance first then the credit card ?

Hi @tengsh!
Yes. If you have a $10 PayPal balance and your order is $14, $10 will be charged from your PayPal balance and $4 will be charged to your funding source (bank or card).

How can you tell if this actually took place? When I click on details it says payment from my credit card. But my balance on PayPal is way off so I was just wondering if there was a way to tell that the payment was deducted from the balance too
