Anyone use and link Ally bank account and debit card with Paypal? Will it work same as any bank?

 Title pretty much sums it up. Thinking about switching banks to Ally, but trying to make sure I can link them  and use debit card same as current bank. Not sure why I'd think they wouldn't work the same, but wanted to make sure beforehand.
