2 Digit code received to confirm card instead of 4 Digit Code

After completing the confirmation process of my linked card, I waited 2-3 days like Paypall suggested and logged in my bank webpage to check the statements, i could see that i was charged the amount for account verification, but I was surprised to see that i have received a 2-digit code instead of a 4-digit code, such as seeing PP*12 instead of PP*1234,... I have resent a new code and was charged again 1.95$ but still the same issue in the statement , how to fix?

Thank you @kernowlass  for your reply but it's already been 5 business days since I did it, and I was charged the 1.95$ ( twice after I resent the code) I can see in the statement the code but it's only two digits.

Are you adding a credit visa card which is the card accepted in your country?
