Here's how:

  1. Click Wallet at the top of the page.
  2. Click Link a debit or credit card on the left.
  3. Follow the next steps to link your card.

You can also add a debit or a credit card using the PayPal App on your mobile phone. Here's how:

  1. Tap

     Wallet.
  2. Tap + across from Banks and cards.
  3. Tap Debit and credit cards.
  4. Link you card manually or connect your PayPal account to your bank.

Note: When adding a card, you’ll be asked to complete 3D-Secure by your card issuing bank. To confirm that you’re the owner of the card, your card issuer may ask you to enter a security code sent to your mobile, or you may need to complete biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) on your banking app.

If you successfully complete the 3D-Secure authentication, you’ll be able to add the card to your PayPal account for future payments, some of which may prompt you to re-enter your 3D-Secure passcode or password, however, this should be the exception rather than the norm.

Sorry @ShaqOatmeal  is giving poor advice.

Read this article as I don't think you can add rupay cards anymore.

@Soldiernk07 … Sorry, but @kernowlass is giving you very poor advice. Despite being a superstar advisor and cherished community member we all love. ❤️ @kernowlass seems to rely on a random news media article. Things are not so black and white and bleak for you. Instead of reading his recommended news piece that gets you no where, read this: https://wise.com/in/blog/how-to-use-paypal-india It is all about PayPal India and it contains answer to your question as well. Best!!

Its been well publicised and is confirmed that domestic paypal payments can NO longer be made in India.

You gave incorrect advice on linking a card which is no longer supported by paypal.
