trying to send canadian funds to a friend in Canada

trying to send canadian funds to a friend in Canada  but when i go to send my Canadian friend money it only allows me to choose any currency other then canadian for the recipient???  The drop down does not have  "CAD" to choose?

As you have not added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in then sadly can't advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

I found the proper solution:

Here’s how to view our exchange rate for converting money to your currency:
Click Wallet.
Click Currency Calculator.
Select the currency "from" and the currency "to."
Enter the amount you would like to convert.
Click Done.
Once they add it, I would request you to try sending it by clearing cache and cookies on your internet browser.
