retrieve funds

I sent money to a friend 3 years ago. He is not able to access it. How can I retrieve the funds ?

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

PayPal Buyer Protection covers transactions for 180 days from the date the transaction was made. As this timeframe has passed, you won't have the option to open a dispute.

I would advise your friend to contact us. We can assist them with accessing their PayPal account to withdraw the funds. They can contact us by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page.
