refund to a non-existing email to my credit card

Hello, so as the title says I sent money to a non-existing email so there was a button where I could click so they could refund me, and it's been now 7 days and I still got nothing on my bank account. I don't have any information of the status of the refund i'm starting to get worried I won't receive it.

Do you mean it was ''unclaimed'' and you cancelled?

In which case a refund would not have been issued as the payment hadn't gone anywhere.

Allow 5-7 business days for the funds to go back to your bank OR 1 billing cycle for it to go back to a card or speak to your card issuer?
