problem sending someone money, We added your new payment method, but can’t use it right now

When I try to pay anyone, I have to type in my card then it says "We added your new payment method, but can’t use it right now. To continue, choose or add another way to pay." It doesnt save my bank card even though it is saved and confirmed on my paypal. How do I fix this?

I am sorry to know that you're not able to complete the payment with your card. Every time you attempt to make a payment, it goes through a series of filters for possible risk. If the internal security system deems risk, it may limit the payment options or block the activity temporarily. Here's the article with the information of most common reasons for payment declines. As you've already confirmed your card, I would suggest you to try the payment again at a later date by clearing cache/cookies or trying a different browser/device. If the issue persists, please try to complete the payment with a different payment method.
