I have a default on my credit report due to a pay in 4 late payment from 2023. How can I contact paypal to have this removed from my credit report? There doesn't seem to be any email address I can email and show it was an oversight
A late payment can't be removed from your credit report. The payment was made late, as such it's on record as part of your history.
You can try to go to PayPal.com, click "help", scroll down to "contact us" click that, choose your form of contact, Email, phone or online chat. Submit the information and they will help you there (if they can).
