payments have started failing on many platforms since August 1st. and i'm not the only one this is happening to, this happened during payment cycle to patreon, most of my patreon payments went through, but 2 failed and are still failing now. they are all on the same payment info. my card is fine, my bank is linked and fine. i tried to gift subs on Twitch today. failed. i tried to purchase L$ for secondlife. also failed. according to my partner her patreon subscription has also failed to go through. all this started August 1st. and i have found nothing anywhere regarding this. its an issue with paypal. thats all i know. and im getting no errors or failure reports on paypal itself. only on checkout in the mentioned sites.

Having similar problem though I have 4 cards (different currencies) from 3 different banks attached to my paypal and paypal fails to charge 3 of them and... applies their conversion rate and charge the last card they can charge... which is beyond stupid 😕
