When logging in to PayPal I have a code sent to my phone then when using pay it in 4 it says my number is invalid

I'm sorry to hear you're being told your phone number is invalid when trying to make a purchase. Is your phone number registered in your name, and has it been on your account for a while? If you've made any changes, you may need to wait around 48 hours before it can be used for all security checks. If it's not registered in your name, you will likely need to add a different phone number that is. However, if it has been on the account for a while and it's in your name, please reach out to Customer Support here for further investigation.
