If the funds are on hold for 'shipping' then it means your friend used the incorrect option to send the funds.
They must have used the goods/services payment option instead of sending the funds using the friends/family option, so you would also have incurred a fee?
Sadly you can't change it now so your best bet is to read the link and see if completing the advice for 'virtual' sales will help you get the funds before 21 days.
