i received money from to a email address that isnt my primary email address

I have been sent money to an email address that isnt my primary one and so i cant access it and when trying to sign up with that email address it says it already excists?

Have you got it linked to an old paypal account maybe?

If it says it exists then try and log in with the 'forgotten password' option?

Is there a way I can get the person a refund? if i cant get the money

If the payment is pending/unclaimed with a cancel option on their paypal account then they can cancel it

If its showing pending/unclaimed withOUT a cancel option then it would time out at 30 days.

If its showing as sent/payment or completed and they used the ''goods/services'' option then they can open a dispute for non receipt of item and as you are not going to send anything or challenge the dispute then they should get a refund once escalated to a claim.

If its showing as sent and they used the ''friends/family'' option then only customer services can help you and may be able to refund for you.
