Does pay pal charge 3% for me to use my credit card via pay pal to send money to my friends (we are both within the US)? I do not see that simple statement here. My friend told me to switch to Venmo because they do not charge fees. I have looked everywhere on this site, seems to be hidden. Ive used Pay Pal a few times each year this way and was totally unaware of a fee.
There is a fee to send a Friends and Family payment using a credit card as the card issuer considers a transaction like this as cash advancing which comes with a higher fee to process these type of payments.
