Will my money drop if I send it to my PayPal?

As an individual based in Nigeria, if I use my PayPal email address to receive payment from some, is it going to drop in my PayPal account?

The option to receive Paypal payments is sadly not available in Nigeria.
You can only send payments for purchases funded by your (confirmed) credit card.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive Paypal payments.

What happens if someone residing in Nigeria relocated to another country where payment receiving option is available and creates a bank account in that country and got a card? What changes or neccessary adjustments can be made for the account to function as an account that isn't based in Nigeria? I READ YOUR LAST RESPONSE WORD BY WORD.

Then if you are not in Nigeria you should not be using a Nigerian paypal account.

Paypal is country specific so if you have moved then you should have opened a paypal account in the country where you now reside.

HOWEVER if you read YOUR post word for word you will see that you stated you were BASED in Nigeria so make your mind up.

Thank you for your support so far. Yes, I currently base in Nigeria. I am asking this, if I relocated to a country where PayPal accounts can legally receive payments. How do I update my account to reflect my new location? Creating a new PayPal account will mean using a different email, which will compromise any funds assigned to that my email in the first place.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to close your old Paypal account and open a new Paypal account registered in the country where you now live. You would then need to add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You would then be able to re-use your email address once your old account has been closed.
