I sent 2 payments to the same seller but even though I checked the status of the transactions and it says “completed” - why is there a note under each transaction that says “repeat this transaction “?

Sounds as if you used the friends/family option?
Hope you didn't but if its saying repeat transaction then that is often there if you have sent a gift of money using the friends/family option. That is in case you want to send them another gift at a later date, its not a request to do so, its just there for your convenience.
However never use the friends/family option to pay sellers, it negates your buyer protection.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
